Tactile Audio Based Feedback
Tactile Audio Based Feedback System driving bass shakers via a dedicated sound card.
1 Introduction
Platform manager is equipped with DIY Tactile Feedback System that can use tactile transducers connected to a sound card to generate additional effects on your cockpit. The system is designed to assist the motion platform, not to act as a main source of feedback.

2 Prerequisites and Limitations
- The computer is required to have at least one additional sound card dedicated for DIY Tactile Feedback System. The system cannot share the sound card with the game.
- The motion platform has to be connected to PC and turned on for DIY Tactile Feedback System to work properly.
- It is recommended to disable all surround, dolby and other sound enhancement features in your sound card system configuration, because sound post-processing routines can affect accuracy of generated tactile feedback.
3 Global Configuration
1. Go to Tools and Diagnostic and open DIY Tactile Feedback System.
2. Select your additional sound card, enable the system and then configure mapping for your tactile transducers.

3. Press speaker icon to play tune and verify if the mapping is configured properly.

4. You can check what effects are available in game profile view (it's visible after a soundcard has been selected and changes applied).

4 Current System Status
1. The system status is displayed at the bottom of the main window.

2. If you want to make sure that game sends necessary data to the DIY Tactile Feedback System, go to Tools and Diagnostic and choose DIY Tactile Feedback Diagnostic.

5 Game Configuration
- Not all games support DIY Tactile Feedback System.
- Before you proceed, make sure that the DIY Tactile Feedback System is enabled and the motion platform is plugged into PC and turned on.
- If Tactile Feedback sections are visible inside in game profile view, then it means that chosen game supports DIY Tactile Feedback System
