Profile Image

Change the tile image of a custom profile by editing the profiles.ini file.

1 Introduction

This short tutorial shows you how to change an image associated with custom profile. Before you begin, prepare new image. It has to be exactly 270 x 100 24bit PNG file.

Information
This procedure works on cloned profiles only.

2 Steps

1. Go to the profile you want to clone and click Clone

2. Enter a new name. We suggest to keep Shallow copy enabled to avoid issues after software update.

3. Close the application. By default, clicking X in the upper right cornes hides the platform manager to tray - make sure to click Exit program.

4. Go to Documents\MotionSystems\ForceSeatPM and open profiles.ini in notepad (right click → Open with → Notepad).

5. Find your profile there (you can use CTRL+F in Notepad). Add GameImage= entry (if it does not exist). Follow it with a directory to where your new profile image is stored. Important: make sure to use forward slashes (/) instead of backslashes (\) when you are specifying path to your image.

For example: GameImage=C:/Users/user_name/Pictures/new-profile-image.png

Information
The directory name must be specified in English, even if your Windows display language is set to a different language.

6. Save the profiles.ini file in Notepad and start the platform manager. If all the steps have been completed, your cloned profile now displays personalized image.
