MOTION SYSTEMS AND PERRINN APPLICATION TESTS
Motion Systems, as a technology partner of the Perrinn 424 project, held an event on October 05-06, 2022, where invited guests had the opportunity to fully test the 4DOF QS-V20 motion cockpits and the PERRINN application. The goal of the PERRINN & 424 Hypercar project is to break the electric car record at the Nurburgring Nordschleife and possibly the overall car record, which belongs to the Porsche 919.
The meeting and driving tests took place in the largest Sim Racing Center in Poland – Apex One in Wroclaw. In addition to great racing using motion platforms and professional simulations, guests took part in a networking session in which the most important issues from the world of simulation and motorsport were discussed.
Among the invited guests were representatives of Perrinn, Funder Nicolas Perrin, Angel Garcia – Engineer Vehicle Physics Pro, and Augsto Dufloth – PERRINN test driver, and host representatives: Michał Stanek Motion Systems Founder and CEO, and Przemysła Jakubek Motion Systems Key Account Manager. There were also professional racing drivers from both the real track and the virtual one.
During the tests, it was possible to see the struggles of professional racing driver Damian Lempart and LeMans24 virtual race champion , as well as professional sim racer Nikodem Wisniewski from Williams eSport.
One of the main topics of discussion among the participants was the impact of adding motion to racing car simulators, and the impact for racing drivers training. You will be able to hear the conclusions of this discussion in the video which will appear soon on Motion Systems YouTube.
