The main technical assumptions of the F/A-C18 fighter simulators were: small size and lightweight body, ease of transport, super quite operation and compatybility with VR HeadWay technology for even better VR experience. Flight cockpit simulator is based on 3DOF motion platform PS-3TM-550 with payload up to 550 kg, which is enough to carry the cockpit with equipment and a pilot.

Dogfight Boss flight simulators work in Mixed Reality environment. The fully wired cockpit, for DCS, was tested with XTAL goggles. What is more the platform manager software (ForceSeatPM) that allows users to control their motion system has a lot of additional functionalities, one of them is VR Headway that pilots can freely enjoy simulation without symptoms of VR sickness.
